Bopis is a spicy Filipino dish made from minced pig's lungs and heart. This can be served as an appetizer for beer and alcoholic beverages.

Ingredients:

 

• 1 Kilo of Ground Lungs Pig (Cook)
• 2 pcs. Carrots slice diced
• 2 pcs. Green Chili slice
• 3 pcs. Bell pepper slice diced
• 1 big Onion slice diced
• 7 cloves of Garlic slice diced
• ¼ cup of Vinegar
• 1 tbsp. of Sugar, 1 tsp. Salt, Pepper and Seasoning powder
• 3 tbsp. of Ketchup
• ¼ cup of Soy sauce
• 3 tbsp. Oil for sauté
• 1/8 cup of Butter for sauté
• ¼ cup of Atsuete Oil
• Water for boiling Ground Pig

 

Procedure:

 

Step • 1. In a pot with water boil the pig lungs with salt and vinegar for 15 minutes. Set aside

Step • 2. Cut all the ingredients in medium diced.

Step • 3. Heat the pan and put the butter and oil and sauté garlic until golden brown.

Step • 4. Add the onion and sauté for another 20 seconds.

Step • 5. Add the boiled pig lungs and seasoned with salt, pepper, sugar, seasoning granules.

Step • 6. Then add vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well and cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.

Step • 7. Add the carrots and bell pepper diced, 2 minutes before cooking time add the ketchup and chili finger. Mix well.

Step • 8. Lastly add the atsuete oil and stir until dry and cook.

Step • 9. Serve your dish and enjoy!
